Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 June 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Soklia mobile application ("the app"), published by an individual developer based in France. By installing or using Soklia, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Soklia is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The app and its AI coach offer general wellness information and self-tracking only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or nutritional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified professional for any health concern, and seek immediate help in an emergency.

1. Use of the app

Soklia is for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.

2. Your content & data

The wellness data you enter belongs to you and is stored on your device. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you log and for keeping your own backups if you choose to. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

3. AI coach

The coach generates responses automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on it for decisions that require professional judgment. You use AI features at your discretion.

4. Subscriptions & purchases

Some features may be offered through a paid subscription ("Soklia+"). Purchases, billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled by the app store (Google Play / Apple App Store) under their terms. Manage or cancel your subscription in your store account. Prices and the free/paid feature split may change; any change applies going forward.

5. Intellectual property

The Soklia name, logo, design, and software are protected and remain the property of the developer. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the Soklia brand.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including your statutory consumer rights).

8. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the app or any feature, with reasonable notice where practical.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.
